Feature request for Anope website

(1/1)

Michal D.:
Hello. I would like to request following features for the Analope website:

* pagination - user can select from dropdown how many elements per page should be displayed
* link to profile - after the user logs in, replace the text user name with a link to his/her profile
* grouping for the modules - in each module info page, in the download part should be 2 sections: Source (the .c and .cpp files) and Windows (.dll files)

The mentioned above solutions would make the sites easier to browser and also easier to download the propper files

Additionally, please add more advanced user settings in the website after the user logs in

This is not a native feature to SMF, which is the software our forums run. There are some modifications that enable this but they'd need to be installed. The default value for posts per page is 25 and the default value for threads per forum listing is 30.

If you are referring to the forum, once a user logs in, there is a link titled "Profile" in the primary navigation bar.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I will make sure a team member takes a look! :)

I'm not sure what you're referring too here? Could you please clarify? Thank you!

I would like to mention again that the ideas are meant for the anope.org website, not for the forum

The actual profile page on the website is very simple and it don't let to set many details, like by example the privacy settings about the displayed fields, etc.)

Yoerger:
The main Anope Website information that is displayed to you when you login is only accessible by you and team members. Thus it remains the ultimate form of privacy. There is an (edit) button for any of the fields you may need to edit.

Also, just so you know, Jobe pointed out that there is an option in Profile->Look & Layout for you to select how many messages and threads are displayed per page.
