How do you use the chanserv clear function

How do I use the /msg chanserv clear function?
It says to do: /msg chanserv clear #channel what. Could someone explain this?

(22:50:20) -ChanServ- Syntax: CLEAR channel what
(22:50:20) -ChanServ-
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- Tells ChanServ to clear certain settings on a channel. what
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- can be any of the following:
(22:50:20) -ChanServ-
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- MODES Resets all modes on the channel (i.e. clears
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- modes i,k,l,m,n,p,s,t).
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- BANS Clears all bans on the channel.
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- EXCEPTS Clears all excepts on the channel.
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- OPS Removes channel-operator status (mode +o) from
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- all channel operators.
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- HOPS Removes channel-halfoperator status (mode +h) from
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- all channel halfoperators, if supported.
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- VOICES Removes "voice" status (mode +v) from anyone
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- with that mode set.
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- USERS Removes (kicks) all users from the channel.
(22:50:20) -ChanServ-
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- By default, limited to those with founder access on the
(22:50:20) -ChanServ- channel.
