Anope 1.7.17 Panic when dropping a forbidden channel
« on: January 16, 2007, 09:47:31 AM »

Ok still running 1.7.17 here because of another issue I reported and waiting for a fix due in 1.7.19.

When dropping a channel that is forbidden in 1.7.17 I get the following error:

*** Global -- from services.austchat.net: PANIC! buffer = :Trickynik PRIVMSG ChanServ@services.austchat.net :drop #test

And of course services then segfaults and dies.

Any ideas why?

You also use os_chanmsg2 and usermsg as non-standard modules. Try unloading those 4 and see if you can get Anope to crash again.
