Mysql.sock not found

I could not find mysql.sock on my shell\server, using FTP and SSH(Putty) with locate mysql.sock .

Any way I can still get MYSQL Anope to work?

you may check also for mysqld.sock  

check for /etc/mysql/my.cnf  . search sock and you found it

yes, don't specify it in the config file.
