[win32] Errors using other databases
« on: July 31, 2006, 10:06:44 PM »

I've freshly installed Anope on my server and copied the old Databases I used on my previously crashed server on this one.
Now here is the error I get:

Code: [Select]

[Jul 31 22:04:21 2006] status: [0][Module, Okay - No Error]

[Jul 31 22:04:21 2006] MySQL: has been disabled.
[Jul 31 22:04:21 2006] FATAL: Invalid format in chan.db

Anyone knows what the problem with chan.db is and how to fix it?

have you upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7?

I'm not sure, since the changelogs all give changes from the 1.7 branch

I'm guessing the old server had MD5 encryption enabled and the new one doesn't.

I'm not using MySQL, and can't seem to find MD5 options in the config file (other than in the MySQL section).

UPDATE: Da-Huntha dropped by IRC and based on the info provided about his system and it's history, it's most likely currupted db files.
