anope 1.8 -1.7.18

Hello...

Right now, am using anope version 1.8 But i want to move back to anope 1.7.18... is there anyway.. i can convert the db to 1.7.18 from 1.8...

Ur help will be really appreciated...

There is currently no way to downgrade from 1.8 because of a change made to how data is stored.

if we convert anope 1.8.0 database to mysql and then link the mysql to anope1.7.18 will it work?

Possibly but it's not advised as 1.7.18 is very old now and you should be using 1.8 if you can.

If it works it s very unlikely it will be without corruption..
Not only the .db databases were changed, the MySQL databases suffered the same issue and were also upgraded.. it may work, but there will likely be database corruption behind the scenes.. Also keep in mind 1.7.18 is no longer supported so you are on your own for this...
