Glitch in anope 1.7.14
« on: March 31, 2006, 02:21:28 PM »

This is what i get when i attempt to voice GameServ:

8:14am --> «GameServ joined #oxygen» - GameServ@o2-irc.net -
8:15am «dirty» !voice GameServ
8:15am «global from services.o2-irc.net» - PANIC! buffer = :dirty PRIVMSG #oxygen :!voice GameServ -

After that, anope pretty much locks up and will need to be shutdown from within the shell and restarted. It doesn't do this with normal users, though.

I am using ViagraIRCD 1.3.3 and ,obviously, anope 1.7.14.

GameServ is the anope module, ircd_gameserv.c, provided through anope's module page.

This error didn't happen till i upgraded from 1.7.13 to 1.7.14.

If the problem is only with the GameServ module, id suggest contacting the gameserv author

with anope .13 I had the same problem using unreal IRCD. I stopped using it even though it's a fun little module :(
