/OperServ set logchan on

I issue the command /OperServ set logchan on  
I get this  <OperServ> Services is now reporting log messages to #thelair

But it does not happen nothing gets logged there , everything is going to status and the channel #thelair does exsist .

Any suggesetions ?????   Thank you

to status ?
the logchan messages are regular channel messages send by global, no notices, so they can't just go to the status window :s

all the ops admins see it in thier Status ,  nothing in the assigned channel for logchan

Do you have debug enabled? Anope refuses to log to IRC when debug is enabled due to the kind of information being logged in debug mode (all sent/received data including passwords to name one)
