There are no errors in your post, so we can't do anything until you post something helpful. The ms_rsend module unloaded because you didn't specify MSMemoReceipt

yea, and according to the timestamp there s a huge gap in between your last log, which doesn't show anything about a shutdown and your first, which simply shows anope starting normally...

nothing to go on...

exactly, thats what i have, the start up is when i restarted the services in the morning, it puzzles me since there is not output of the shutdown or connection loss or nothing

EDIT: I remember this problem in version 1.7.15, i think it was never solved but i cant remember

ok lets try this .. start services is debug mode (./services -debug) and wait for it to crash. then look for errosr in the log file it's self .. if a core file (named services.core) is generated do:

cd ~/services
gdb services services.core
bt full

Paste the output here.

ok i will get back to you after it crashes (it seems to be running still)

EDIT: Another quick question, I am using anopesmtp for my mail system (since this is a windows box) Here is what i have as the sendmail path, is that the correct syntax? If not what is?

SendMailPath "anopesmtp smtp.SOMESERVER.com"

SendMailPath "anopesmtp smtp.SOMESERVER.com" <--- that is correct.

HOWEVER, whatever server you use must allow you to relay through them such as an ISP smtp server and the server CANNOT require smtp authentication.

backups fail for only 2 reasons, sadly neither have anything to do with Anope.

1> lack of permissions
2> lack of disk space

As far as the read error, this happens when services can't talk to the ircd. This also have nothing to do with Anope directly. If you were having problems getting anope configured for the first time it would be a little different because some configuration settings can cause this. However, if services was connected and running and you suddenly get this message, then it's not a configuration issue but a pure lack or loss of connectivity, which is something Anope can not control such as a loss of connectivity due to a poor network connection. Think of a read error as the same as a ping timeout from a client or a connection reset by peer error.

Come to think of it, my ISP does do some of its maintenance at night, would connecting the services to localhost instead of my domain name be better?

perhaps in connecting, but it doesn't fix the backup issue.
