Title: Admin Permission Denied
Post by: Craz on September 27, 2006, 03:30:47 AM
Set up a server a bit ago and have been testing a few things to get the swing of it.  One thing I can not figure out to save my life....

When attempting to use /ns getpass blahblah

I get "-NickServ- Permission denied."

I even try by setting Superadmin on and still get same message.

Im using Unreal3.2.5 with Anope 1.7, flags set in anope are:
netadmin;
can_override;
global;
can-kline;
can_globalkill;
can_die;
admin;
helpop;

Is there something I am just looking over?  Im not the brilliant one when it comes to setting services up, but again, I am in the learning phase and playing.  Thanks for the help in advance !!!

What is your exact services version and do you load any 3rd party module(s) which can altered the default GETPASS command ?

Found the problem... looks at the wrong services.conf.

Found the right one and made the correct changes.  The idea to check /os staff kinda lead me to think more about it.  Thanks for the help everyone !!!!

One last question regarding services root... how do I add more than one nick ??

I have...

ServicesRoot "Craz" "SomeoneElse"

Both nicks are seperated by a space, but no joy..
