Defcon

I'm tring to set up defcon, but when i set it up. I get this in the logs:

What should i do?
I had this in the config:

# DefConLevel <level> [OPTIONAL]
#     Default defcon level (1-5) to use when starting services up, level 5
#     instructs services to run as normal.

DefConLevel 1


DefCon4 23
#     No channel reg + No Nick Reg + No MLOCK changes + Use Reduced Session Limit
#           1        +      2      +         4        +            16

DefCon3 31
#     As DefCon4 + Services will Force Chan Mode's on channels
#          23    +                     8

DefCon2 159
#     As DefCon3 + Services will silently ignore everyone but opers
#          31    +                    128

DefCon1 415
#     As DefCon2 + AKILL all new clients trying to connect
#          159   +                  256

and so on.

for starters setting the default DefConLevel to 1 will akill anyone that connects all the time, leave it at 5. Additionally if you have it specified and services says it's missing, it's most likely that you edited the wrong file or tried to start services without saving you changes.

To add to what katsklaw said, all new clients will be akill'ed at DefCon 1 that includes you and your staff with NO exceptions.

It is possible in Unreal to make exceptions using except tkl blocks however, but Anope still sets the akill, and the associated gline, and possibly sends a KILL message for the user too, although im not too sure about the KILL message.
