That, of course, only solves our first problem. The most important problem, about the "chdir..." error, is way more interesting :r I have never had any problem with whatever program that I couldn't solve, but I guess there's a first time for everything. What does this error want? Is it telling me my eyes are broken? Is it telling me I should create "data" directories ALL OVER my entire PC? No, there is no such file. Yes, there IS such a directory. But still, I get this error. Now tell me, and please be honest... Does this make any sense at all? XD
Of course, this could mean that the program is looking for the "data" directory in some other place... But how can I find out? Other people don't seem to have this problem, so what makes me so special? ^^
And, last but not least, one more little thing... When I install Anope, using the installer, readme.txt opens up after completing the installation. This readme file is telling me all sorts of things about compiling, etc... Why should I have to compile anything, I just installed it, right? ;(
Btw, I am running Windows XP Professional, without a Service Pack. I had a WinXPproSP2 OEM CD, but it vanished for some reason when I brought it to school once... Is this a problem, or does Anope work on WinXP without SP2 aswell?
Thnx
