Title: Limiting access to certain users
Post by: t325 on May 05, 2007, 08:39:06 PM
I'm new at all this, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.

I want to have a channel that's only limited to certain users we give access to. Anyone else who tries to access will automatically get kicked. I'm not really sure how to do this, any help would be appreciated. thanks

[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ- Syntax: SET channel RESTRICTED {ON | OFF}
-
[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ-
-
[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ- Enables or disables the restricted access option for a
-
[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ- channel.  When restricted access is set, users who would
-
[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ- normally be disallowed from having channel operator
-
[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ- privileges (users with negative access levels and, if
-
[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ- secure ops is set, users not on the access list) will
-
[16.46.05.465] -ChanServ- instead be kicked and banned from the channel.

if the services doesn´t work, you can use just the Chanmodes +b *!*@* and then exceptions on each nick like +e seraphim*!*@*

Or u set chmode +i and use the Invite List for the Channel (+I <mask>)
