Title: SuperAdmin Help
Post by: cabc3 on December 28, 2007, 07:46:26 PM
Okay, so there's modules for pretty much anything, which is great. I was wondering if perhaps, someone could make a module for SuperAdmin to be limited to certain users. I currently use the module limiting it to Root only, and it would sure be nice to have it set for certain individual users instead, so that I don't have to give people a higher/lower status than i want them at. The following commands would be nice:

/os superadmin add <name>
/os superadmin del <name>
/os superadmin list
/os superadmin clear

Those could be Root-Only commands. Then it would be helpful if it saved to some sort of database to make sure they don't reset when services are restarted.

If some one could create that, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Alot,

cabc3

This isn't a bad idea actually. Unfortunately I personally don't have the time to write it or I would.

do you still need it since as of anope-1.7.20 superadmin is limited to roots.
btw there is a module that puts a password restriction on set superadmin already..

Yeah, i don't want the password restriction or root restriction. It would be nice to have one that does what is described above.

a lack of response generally means "no". Asking every 8-10 days will not get you the module, it's just annoying.
