If you want to put the services like chanserv in the channel like your nickname is in the nicklist you got to use RAW.

Using the raw command will make you lose all support here i think if somethig goes wrong:

# DisableRaw [RECOMMENDED]
#
# Disables the highly destructive OperServ RAW command.

DisableRaw

For the modules: http://anope.org/modules/ (http://anope.org/modules/)

Can you explain why this is highly destructive ?
And why if this was enabled no support be give ?

I see on many networks, chanserv in channels like nicks are listed.

Why is this not wise or a bad opion ?

Also sorry does Anope have some kind of virus protection and proxy prot something like a BOPM or should and do I need to install BOPM to help protect the network from mass bots/proxy floods ?

There is a module to put chanserv into channels.

Anope no long has a built in proxy scanner, use BOPM, OPM or <insert other high quality proxy scanner here>

Dont use RAW, im not even sure why it was mentioned at all in this thread.

See ./docs/MODULES for information on using modules.

One could use raw to force chanserv into the channel, i thought he might be thinking about using that.

Guess i need to look into the modules

lonewolf: please don't mention raw at all. people will just see it as a possible solution but it isn't.
