extra info on "/cs aop/sop/vop #chan list"
« on: March 10, 2006, 01:58:29 PM »

is there a module to add nickname of user that has added user in channel access list? (providing extra info on /cs  aop/sop/vop #chan list)
on /cs aop #chan list
we see :
1 - someone1
2- anotherone
...
I want to see this:
1 - someone1 has been added by channelsop on 17 june 2005 ...
2 - anotherone has been added by sopofchan on 12 march 2003

...

i was asking exactly about this along time ago on #anope and Genius was saying that it will not be included on the next version. Anyway lets hope that there will be a modules out there and someone will come out with it for users. Lets wait patiently for the modules to come. Thanks :7

Not sure about 1.7.x (as I don't use it) but 1.6.x already has this for akick using the view command (similar for akills).

e.g.

/cs akick #channel view 1

[09:12] -ChanServ- The AKICK VIEW command is a more verbose version of
-
[09:12] -ChanServ- AKICK LIST command.

an output from my /cs akick #chan view list.. so the akick adder is already included in that one...

Anope-1.6.3
-> /cs akick #Channel list
-ChanServ- Autokick list for #Channel:
-
-ChanServ-     1 *!*@*.ru (Too much hair and not wanted here)
-
-ChanServ-     2 *!*lamer@* (User is a moron)
-
-> /cs akick #Channel view 2
-ChanServ- Autokick list for #Channel:
-
-ChanServ-   2 *!*lamer@* (by malice on Jan 01 2006)
-
-ChanServ-     User is a moron
-

As you can see by using the "view" command you can see who and when the akick was set... like I said I don't use 1.7.x but it works in 1.6.x

No, this is in reply to having the feature added for the akick command.

what we are talking about on this thread is:
when some users do /cs access #channel list it will output as:

-ChanServ- Access list for #Lobby:
-ChanServ-   Num   Lev  Nick                 Added by
-ChanServ-     1     10  nick1   n00bie
-ChanServ-     2     5  nick2             Lamah
-ChanServ-     3     10  eggdrop               KiLLeR
-ChanServ-     4     5  nick3         SomeNick
-ChanServ-     5     4  nick4                Etc
-ChanServ- End of access list.

:r

I thought I would add to this discussion a little bit.

For UOP,VOP,AOP,SOP and the sometime-possible Co-Founder classes, a LIST command should possibly show the following information:

#chan AOP listing (Filter: all entries)
- [Nickname], last mask: [user@mask*], last online: [date], last joined: [date] added by [SOP/FND] on [date]
End of #chan listing [# matches found]

#chan AKICK listing (Filter: all entries)
- [mask] added by [Op] on [Date], enforced
  • times (reason: [reason])

End of #chan AKICK listing - [# of matches found]

I think that's how it should be done. :P
