Title: When I go to make install....
Post by: Dave on July 03, 2010, 06:42:22 PM
Okay, here is a little information. I am on CentOS, its one of the first times I have ever used it. This is the error I am shown:

test -d /home/r2/services/bin || mkdir /home/r2/services/bin
/usr/bin/install services /home/r2/services/bin/services
/usr/bin/install bin/anoperc /home/r2/services/bin/anoperc
rm -f /home/r2/services/bin/listnicks /home/r2/services/bin/listchans
ln /home/r2/services/bin/services /home/r2/services/bin/listnicks
ln /home/r2/services/bin/services /home/r2/services/bin/listchans
(cd ../lang ; make install)
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/r2/services/lang'
test -d /home/r2/services/bin/languages || mkdir /home/r2/services/bin/languages
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/r2/services/lang'
//bin/cp ../data/* /home/r2/services/bin
//bin/cp: cannot stat `../data/*': No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/r2/services/src'
make: *** [install] Error 2

I have already run make modules. I was NOT the one that installed it. Is it possible it's an install error? Also, I understand that the directory/file isn't found...how do I fix it? I've used Debian, FreeBSD, Ubuntu, and several others except CentOS. I know CentOS is a pain anyways, but if you could help.

Thank you,

Dave.
