SVSHOLD weirdness
« on: March 24, 2008, 06:13:24 AM »

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but after turning on SVSHOLD and a netsplit occurs, some users can't change back to their original nicknames.

The server/services puts a SVSHOLD on it, and I don't know how to remove it??

(Unreal3.2.7 / Anope1.7.21)

So to work around it I added them to the OS SQLINE list and then removed and it seems to remove the SVSHOLD..

Can someone explain exactly how SVSHOLD works and how it expires?

Thanks!

With Unreal, Anope will set a timed SVSHOLD for the duration of NSReleaseTimeout in which case it should automaticlly expire unless services removes it before then.
