This is because Bahamut is designed for DALnet, it's not an ircd designed for the general masses. With that, OperServ on DALnet is on their stats server. They have a RootServ in OperServ's place on their services server. Thus the standard aliases will not send data to OperServ@services.server. there is nothing you can do about this really other than alter the Bahamut source code or in your Bahamut config file set both your services server name and your stats server name to your services server name.

There is no need to alter the source code since 1.8. The configuration has both a services_name and a stats_name field; both need to point to Anope for the operserv alias to work correctly.

However setting both to services name will break StatServ if you choose to use it.

Also Hearnah, do NOT run Bahamut in SERVICESHUB mode. Anope is not designed to run with Bahmaut in SERVICESHUB mode and it will generally cause problems. Anope can be configured to take advantage of SERVICESHUB mode but you would lose more than you gain.
