/msg OperServ EXCEPTION doesn't work
« on: October 17, 2009, 06:32:07 PM »

Hi,

when I add an exception for a host, it doesn't work.

Code: [Select]
[19:30:44] -OperServ- 1 100 7223C369.400263CB.A927A194.IP
[19:30:44] -OperServ- 2 100 217.18.70.223

I still get:
Code: [Select]
Too many connections from your IP
What can I do to fix this?
And could you please unban me in #anope?

That's most likely your IRCd denying the connection, not Anope.

I think also,
Since anope Does not say :
To many connections from your IP but it most likely say (if you did not edit it)

"The session limit for your host %s has been exceeded."

This is a bug,
If you reach session limit, anope will crash also.
At your anope config, Edit this line :

Code: [Select]
defaultsessionlimit = 5
to example :

Code: [Select]
defaultsessionlimit = 25

File a bug report.
