[request] join
« on: July 19, 2007, 06:04:48 AM »

yes i know that there is such modules like this one but they can be annoy

what i mean is like cs_join (not to attack noobie, sorry)
cs_join does exactly what i want it to do but the bad thing is when i do /cs stuff it floods the channel and i cant see what people say without scrolling up

so obviously here is where the request is:
A module that creates an editible nick!ident@host * realname
that has the ability to join channels (that are registered)
with only 2 options (Join and part)

i would also like it to have a variety of choices for who can assign it to a channel
with 3 option access, allowing the services root to change:
services root, services admin, services oper, Ircop, Founder, owner(identified)

but if thats too much then just leave at only one :[
dont want to be to picky

note: i know that the nick will also notice the channel but it will only be once (on join) or maybe not at all, and it would one line so its not flooding the whole channel

p.s. noobie i apollogize if i offend you or anyone else about the use of cs_join in my example, please forgive me :'(

If your only gripe is ChanServ notices replying in the channel ChanServ is in, then change that on your client (which I'm going to guess is mIRC). There's no point in having a whole new module made when it is your client at fault, not the module.

Well, that's my opinion anyway.

its the notice feature, when noticed if you arent in any channels the noticer is in then it appears in status window,
maybe you can tell me where i can get some info on how to make modules, or is that considered editing the source?

p.s. ive used other clients too

or
#define VERSION "v1.0.0 07/22/2007"
