Nickserv change nick to guest only if user set kill on
« on: June 20, 2008, 05:07:29 AM »

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with my nickserv, when a new nick is registered the SET KILL is off by default. If a user use that nick and don't identify to nickserv, nickserv don't change that nick to guest.
But if the user identify to nickserv and set KILL ON, then logout and connect again and doesn't identify to nickserv, nickserv change his nick to guest...
I hope you understand what i'm talking about.

Note: i don't speak english very well =/, but i try to do the best i can.

Uncomment NSDefKill in services.conf

And there is a module on http://modules.anope.org that will allow you to turn it on for all registered nicks using one command.

There is "/msg NickServ help set kill" which will show you the kill quick option (NSDefKillQuick in services.conf)

Jobe

Thanks again!!! Now it's all ok and i don't need any module to SET KILL ON for all new users.. i don't why, but runs ok!

The message "If you do not change within 20 seconds, I will change your nick." it follows without appearing every 10 sec.

But it doesn't important... well thanks so much again!

Best regards from Argentina.... Bye...
