remove ban
« on: July 09, 2007, 10:07:19 PM »

this may be the wrong place to ask but i doubt unreal can do it.

is there some thing that allows services do remove bans
services and/or server bans
on a services root

for example
someone found out an opers pass
they decide they want to takeover the server (because they dont know i can just restart it without the oper's oline)
and they decide to gline or akill (somehow got the opers nick pass to and have Services admin) a services root
is there someway that services can stop a lower services user from using services to ban a higher services user

services oper from banning services admn and root
services admin from banning a services root

IRCop O:Lines are not only password protected but can be restricted to specific hosts only, I suggest you use it.

Not if they have never had an O:line or a server before, because no one would tell them that. why would they know if they dont need to use it

and if you have proper hostmasks on the O:Lines to start with it's not very likely that an opers access is going to be hi-jacked in the first place even WITH a valid password.

/me gets the feeling he's said that before.
