Nick and Chan Storage
« on: March 07, 2008, 09:15:56 PM »

Hi, I am needing to transfer my nicks and channels to a new provider, but I wasn't using an SQL Database before to store them, so my question is where do I need to look in order to find the nicks and channels for my server?

I am using version 1.7.18.

Thanks.

There are several .db files that are located in the folder with your services. Those are your flatfile databases. Just move them to another server before launching anope on the new server.

Great!! Okay.. I've done that, now I get the error:

[Mar 09 00:58:30 2008] Loading IRCD Protocol Module: [unreal32]
[Mar 09 00:58:30 2008] status: [4][Module Error, File does not exist]

Simply moving your db files would not have caused this. To solve this error, run make and make install again.

PS sorry about the post edit, I hit the edit button instead of the quote button. Which for Admins are right next to each other.
