what do you mean by "we have had to reaplly hosts onto" ? :-)

as far as i know, a vhost gets deleted when the nick of the host owner gets expired ( /ns info nick all ) or deleted the vhost using HostServ DEL | DELALL command.

Which is:
Code: [Select]
/msg NickServ SASET <nick> NOEXPIRE ON

This can only be done by Services Admins and Sevices Root Admins.

I wish it was just /ns set for yourself, for opers/admins/root etc only.  Maybe a noexpire list?

If just any old person could set NOEXPIRE on themself there would be little if not no point in having the nick expirary feature anyway.

As for listing nicks that dont expire try /msg NickServ list * noexpire

I see, thanks.  Well there is /msg BotServ commands only opers/admins/root have access too, so I don't see why SET NOEXPIRE would be bad.

It's fine as is, don't worry :-).
