I hate to say it, but I do agree with Amanda. You have to learn how to do the configuring on your own or you won't necessarily learn how to do things. I spent a few days myself just playing around with the configuration files to get the settings that would work to my liking, along with agreeing on features with my friend on what we want to see.
Everyone here will help you out if you try on your own, just as I had to do the same myself. Even I had some questions here and there, many of them being some of my own faults as well as to why something didn't work the way it should.
InspIRCd is fairly easy to configure in itself, and the same for Anope 1.9. There is plenty of explanations within the conf. files to read over as to what each of them do. It's just a matter of taking the time to read them and configuring them to your liking.
