I'm fairly new to running my own ircd and service but Ive installed Inspire 1.2 and the latest Anope - 1.9.1, and every thing runs smoothly. Yay me. :)
I've been familiarizing myself with Anope and a couple of questions has come to my mind:
- !unban #channel me|nick|host
The !unban unbans me from channels, but other services also adds other functionality as Ive speified. I've found one post in the forum which shortly states that it is not supported due to it being abused. Anybody care to shed som light on this?
- Fantasy_ext
Is it, and/or will it ever be, supported on 1.9? A post states that several commands has been implemented in 1.9 but I have yet to discover things like timed bans.

I can't recall what we've done with !unban, but there will not be any bs_fantasy_ext in 1.9.x. Most of the ChanServ commands will work through fantasy commands, and anything that isn't, it can be added by modules.

Ok. I was mainly asking about fantasy_ext because - from what I can understand - it implemented more choices in its !unban and it also had timed bans.
Which functionality from fantasy_ext will be continued in 1.9 and which will not?

Like I said, most things from ChanServ have fantasy. Viper said he will possibly introduce parts of bs_fantasy_ext as modules in the future, but not until the module API stabilizes.

That is nice.
Will you perhaps look into expanding the functionality of Chanserv Unban too?

ChanServ !unban has already been changed back to how it was and will be in 1.9.2
