« on: April 28, 2007, 11:07:32 PM »

Hey, i'm currently running ANOPE IRC Services under a Windows machine, but i'm going to change it's operating system do Debian Linux. How can i do that without losing all the nicknames and registered channels, etc...?

i have to install ANOPE for linux, and then?? is there anyway so i don't lose my registered nicknames, channels, modes, settings, etc.?

just make sure to copy over all the .db files from the data directory on the windows comp into the services directory on the *nix comp. Do the same for services.conf and it should work.

the difference between windows and linux is the placement of the files, in windows it's in prgram files\anope\data where in *n?x is it ~/services
