MODULE REQUEST: VoteServ
« on: January 12, 2007, 08:56:30 PM »

ServicesAdmins could set in the VoteServ the objects to be voted and only the registered users of the network could vote for their choice..

Commands:
/msg voteserv addobj <What You Want> (as many as someone wish)
/msg voteserv vote 1/2/3/4 etc..
/msg voteserv votelist - to get the objected for voting
/msg voteserv stats to get the stats of vote..
/msg voteserv on/off

I dont think that there is a service like that available..

Yes i know i can do that with an eggdrop.. but i cant check all registered users as i cant be in all chans of users.. so that would be useful.

THanks

an eggdrop can perform a whois on the user to check whether it s identified, or even easier, use /ns status <nick>...

but besides that, imo it s definately not part of the core business of services, but sounds an interesting concent and on smaller nets, why not ?

jfyi:  this doesn't mean i m volunteering to write it :)

Yes for smaller networks would be too usefull allowing and the users of the network decide for important things..

Thanks
