that module will instantly update the users' status when it is changed, it doesn't handle giving it upon identify...

look in the services.conf for the NSModeOnID directive..

cs_autovoice voices the user on entry, regardless of whether their identified with Nickserv or not, if for example someone changed nick from an unreg one to a reg one, it wouldnt voice them. As Viper said you need to uncomment NSModeOnID for this.

the cs_autovoice modules does not honour NSModeOnID at a guess.

when i hav unload the modul cs_autovoice nothinhg works !levels list i have Autovoice 3, on 0 every user (identifyd or not) becomes voice when joined channel, set i autovoice 1 or 3 no user becomes voice (identifyd or not)

Just to add that since writing that post cs_autovoice has been updated, and only voices if the user is identified, it still doesnt honour nsmodeonid, but why should it ? just use levels or vop if you want that.

lol,

when i unload cs_autovoice or run anope without the modul cs_autovoice, levels don't run too!

Now test 2 (without cs_autovoice) NSModeOnID uncomment!:

#test (registered chan with bot "/cs set #test XOP off" is settet). nick name is regged and identified!).

(But first, let us see the levels) /cs levels or !levels list
Code: [Select]
[/i]
|09:22|  »» [~lolox] !levels list

/j nick name is regged and identified.
Code: [Select]

|09:28|  »» Channel Modes ::

you see nothing happens. /ns set autoop is on!

/ns identify ****** (user identify in channel):
Code: [Select]
|09:31|  »» [Notice] [NickServ] [Passwort akzeptiert - du bist jetzt angemeldet.]
|09:31|  »» [Notice] [HostServ] [Dein vHost (test2@test2.users.vhost) ist jetzt aktiviert.]

you see, the user sussesful identifyd and vhost is set by hs_nethost, but the user becoms no voice!

short version:

  • cs_autoload
    • off
  • NSModeOnID
    • on
  • NSAutoOp
    • on
  • #test
    • registered chan with bot "/cs set #test XOP off
  • #test levels
  • AUTOVOICE 3
  • user test2
    • regged nickname and identifyd.

--------

  • result
    • user becoms no voice on join
    • if user not identifyd and identify when he is actualy in chan the user becoms no voice too

Enable NSModeOnID in services.conf (This will make new nicks registered + added get their modes upon identify).

For existing users, you will need to /msg nickserv set autoop on and then try.

You do not need the aforementioned module what you asked her.
