Post by: apaunganhote on May 12, 2008, 03:27:56 AM
Hello,

I tried to login with two of my nick. All passwords i type is correct. But nickserv is keep saying me that Password incorrect. I tried to do SENDPASS also, but it's says Permission Denied. Then, I went and check the nick.db file. I saw the password there as my type password. But nickserv still saying me that Password Incorrect. Any idea please ? I set the encryption module to md5. But when i check the database, i saw my password there. In fact, there's total of two nick in i registered in my network, but when i see from nick.db is only one. Can i know why ? Thanks.

If the password is in plain text in the database, then you MUST use enc_none.

On an additional note, nick.db is NOT meant to be human readable, so you may not be seeing all the data there anyway.
