BotServ, Fantasy Issue.
« on: December 30, 2012, 07:12:32 AM »

I'm having an issue with a loaded bot in a channel not replying to any fantasy commands.  I've read all the other posts all over the site and google.  I have all the correct modules loaded, fantasy on/enabled, correct channel levels/identifys/owner set.  Yet I'm still not getting a reply on any bot trigger, i.e. !help or any other.  I've read all the other posts about this issue without a resolve or solution that works.  I even have the correct "!" trigger set in the services.conf, I've been over everything over and over for 24 hours now with no luck.  Does anyone have any other ideas to get triggers working on botserv?

Does this happen on 1 channel or all of them? Has anyone altered any of the source code?

I haven't edited any of the code, its a fresh compile.  And the bot doesn't reply to any of the fantasy commands in any of the channels I'm sop in.  I've even messed with the xop settings and levels with no luck to get the bot to respond.  I've even added the bs_fantasy_ext.c / so after compile and loaded with no luck.

BotCoreModules "bs_help bs_botlist bs_assign bs_set bs_kick bs_badwords bs_act bs_info bs_say bs_unassign bs_bot bs_fantasy bs_fantasy_kick bs_fantasy_kickban bs_fantasy_owner bs_fantasy_seen"

BSDefDontKickOps
BSDefDontKickVoices
#BSDefGreet
BSDefFantasy   (on by default)
BSDefSymbiosis

BSFantasyCharacter "!"

BotServ: Fantasy mode is now ON on channel #test.

and I've check to make sure the module loaded and is loaded, no errors in the log files.

Which commands are you trying to use? Do you have the bs_fantasy_ext module compiled, installed, and loaded?

Global: OperServ: deesum: modload bs_fantasy_ext
Global: Trying to load module [bs_fantasy_ext]
Global: bs_fantasy_ext loaded... [Author: Viper] [Version: 1.4.0]
[NOTICE]: *** Global -- from OperServ: deesum loaded module bs_fantasy_ext
Global: Module loading status: 0 (Module, Okay - No Error)

OperServ: Module bs_fantasy_ext loaded

Now I type !help and !op username and no output to channel.

!help should output in a Notice, not as a Channel Message.

A services bot also needs to be in the channel as well.
