(ChanServ) Retain bans on registered channels
« on: June 15, 2008, 01:42:31 PM »

When there's no-one on a channel with many bans, they all goes away :(

Is it possible to track them and make ChanServ or the bot putting the saved bans when someone joins the ex-empty channel?

Thanks ;)

Well, yes, but, the main ban list would be damn good too, even if it is a module, I don't care, I just want to know how :P

This is completely 100% an ircd issue. The nature of IRC states that when the last user leaves the channel is destroyed. Absolutely nothing services can do about it.

moved to general chat since we couldn't do this even if we wanted to.

The only way any of the supported ircd's can preserve mode sis to hold the channel open. I recommend visiting http://eggheads.org

Ok, thanks.

About another issue with BotServ; when I assign a bot, it joins but 20 seconds after not getting its status, the services crashes due to a senq error. I would post logs but I hate stopping my server. Anyway: I'm the only one on it, so, the sendq line is set to 100k, it shouldn't be bad, no?

You were answered in the other thread, no need to double post.
