I did not have problem compiling denora 1.4.4 with 32bits CentOS 5.4. With the new machine, I already have mysql-devel installed.

Here is my system: Linux servername 2.6.18-164.15.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Mar 17 11:30:06 EDT 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I gave it up and compiled it again in the 32bits machine. I will try again later with the 64bits. Thanks for the link.

Today, I started to compile Denora again but with version 1.4.5 on 64 bits machine. It still failed. Luckly, by adding LDFLAGS=-L/usr/lib64/mysql to Makefile, the compilation was succesful.
