we don't condone, support or explain how to alter the source code.

If you use later versions of 1.7 you can simply remove the commands module for the core list to disable it.

Like the other irc services they include is_operator, is_admin or is_superadmin in the code, so they can just change one command to restrict the users from acessing the command based on how much you can trust the individuals.  It a very simple code to add, and everyone does it that is a experienced programmer. (2) you can not except everyone to know or learn c code or force a individual to learn it to work around your code.  A good programmer makes it easy for the user to customize the security without making major changes to the code. You should know this.

1> A good programmer knows how to look at the source code and see exactly what it does without having it explained to them.
2> Again, we do NOT support editing the code. You are on your own.
3> Anope does support is_oper, is_services_admin and is_services_root, and a good programmer will see it very plainly right in front of their face when they open the source code.
