BotServ Kicking Me

Recently, while having fun in an IRC channel (I'm total admin of this server), I kicked Mr_Roboto, the BotServ bot. After that, he bans me and kicks me on joining that particular channel.

I tried clearing bans on the channel, but that doesn't help. He's got his sights set on me! I can't talk it out with him... he's a bot.

Note that I use /msg ChanServ UNBAN #channel to get back in, and I can /cycle in and out all I want, but after I quit and come back to the server... it starts all over.

Is there some setting I'm missing? Before upgrading (we had some rather old versions of irc software), we could kick him with no recourse.

I just deleted that bot and made a new one, assigned him and it did the same thing.
