Looking for someone to either write a new ns_ajoin or update the one that heinz updated. At present it is broke because each time it is called upon it opens up a new connection to MySQL causing a server to be maxed out killing all possible connections.

i once started rewriting it, but i didn't get very far before i had to put it on hold because of lack of time...

my version wasn't going to use SQL at all though... i m not very keen on using SQL with anope if it can be avoided...

you should trying thorwing a friendly smile to heinz ;)

I already tried to throw a friendly smile to him :-P I'm not adament on SQL until Phase 2 comes out where anope will read from SQL. Then I can link my forums/IRC nicks. My goal is to eventually get my entire site linked so users only need 1 user/pass to access things :-P

Phase 2 is out. Phase 1 was SQL dumps, Phase 2 is efectivly the same read/write process as the .db's Where Anope reads from SQL at startup and dumps back at the interval specified. Which the devel version of Anope already does. Phase 3 as far as i know is supposed to be the live SQL state.
