Is yournick registered to services and identified; as well as, "is your nick on the services admin list"?

hints: /ns status or /ns help status
/os staff or /os admin list

Not wanting to hijack the thread but seeing as the previous issue was resolved I thought I'd post.

I'm having the same issue really but when I go to add myself to the admin list I get;

-OperServ- Permission denied.

I'm pretty new to all this but I do 'oper' myself before trying to add myself. Am I able to add myself manually via some config file?

Cheers for any help :)

To be able to add nicks to OperServ's ADMIN list check through the following:

1. Make sure you are listed on the ServicesRoot config directive in services.conf.
2. Make sure you have reloaded/restarted Anope after changing the ServicesRoot value.
3. On IRC you must be identified to a ServicesRoot nick via NickServ.
4. You must be an Global IRC Operator.

What Jobe said, but you do NOT need to add yourself to the ADMN or OPER list! You are ROOT, that's all you need.

Adding yourself to other lists does nothing but get you twice the staff memos.
