upgrading anope but found an error
« on: December 16, 2006, 12:08:25 PM »

Hello there,

i'm currently want to upgrade my anope version.
i'm using anope version windows :+
i already ask the ppl on irc anope server and they already teach me but when i'm doing it, it got some error.

the old version anope is Anope-1.7.13.
i want to upgrade the version to Anope-1.7.17
and i want to use the old database from Anope-1.7.13 to Anope-1.7.17.

i still got the anope folder of version 1.7.13 and then i install the Anope version-1.7.17 to the same directory of Anope-1.7.13.

Am i wrong? :*
then when I run the anope service, it got some error.
Below is the attachment of the error.

Can anybody help me? and teach me the right way to upgrade the anope version.

thanx :+

KillClonesAkillExpire was removed from Anope in release version 1.7.17 as it is very old and very inaccurate. It was replaced by Session Limiting. With it's removal, some module will be broken.

As with all development software, it is subject to change without notice.
