Hi, can anyone who have working version of anope/inspircd (preferably 1.9/1.2) under windows 2003 (or XP..)...please PACK it together with conf files...and send it to me..or just conf files...

This is humble ask.. please avoid flaming or being smart...or just "smart".

This is the kind of thing you should really do yourself...that way when you need to change things or fix them when they break you know exactly how to do it. If you have any questions, please ask. However I doubt anyone will do it for you and I'd have to advise them against doing so. Not trying to be mean, but there are plenty of resources to get help from.

No need to be smart as I say... I read plenty for last few days and just being tired of making something simple too complicated. To make long story short, avoiding free software issues, learning etc etc. I just want to have some working basic version and THEN I will have question if I need help. For last few days I try few combinations inspirc/anope...and reread bunch of forums topic here and on inspircd forum. I know that Win is not popular...but...who cares.

Have nice time.

I'm not trying to be smart...however, there are many people who will tell you the same thing in a not so nice way. if you won't help yourself you can't really expect people to help you.

I hate to say it, but I do agree with Amanda. You have to learn how to do the configuring on your own or you won't necessarily learn how to do things. I spent a few days myself just playing around with the configuration files to get the settings that would work to my liking, along with agreeing on features with my friend on what we want to see.

Everyone here will help you out if you try on your own, just as I had to do the same myself. Even I had some questions here and there, many of them being some of my own faults as well as to why something didn't work the way it should.

InspIRCd is fairly easy to configure in itself, and the same for Anope 1.9. There is plenty of explanations within the conf. files to read over as to what each of them do. It's just a matter of taking the time to read them and configuring them to your liking.

Also an additional point, there is no single config setup that will work for everyone, or for that matter even just work straight out of the box. This is why Anope and InspIRCd do NOT provide pre-configured config's that you can just simply run Anope and InspIRCd with.

The closest we have is config's that 'would' work when used together but the point remains you should set it up yourself so you know how it works.

Nobody _has_ to help you. Lose the attitude.

Can you show us the following:

RemoteServer line from services.conf
Bind settings in inspircd.conf
Link block for services in inspircd.conf
Also, confirm which modules you have loaded on inspircd.
