Request: module to set a vhost when user registers
« on: December 03, 2009, 05:55:48 PM »

Hello, my request of module is the follow:
1. Users registers (with /ns register <pass> [<email>])
2. Then Anope sets him immediately a vhost: %d.registered.user.network (and the vhost type can be changed in services.conf variable; %d is the user's nickname)
(3.) If the user has more than 1 nick in a group, all nicks in that group will have the vhost of the Master nick...

Here's an example:
1. I register nick AlfaTester and I get identd@AlfaTester.registered.user.Freenode
2. I register second nickname BetaTester and I get identd@BetaTester.registered.user.Freenode
3. I link BetaTester to AlfaTester and my master nick is AlfaTester, so when I do /nick BetaTester and /ns id <pass> I'll get identd@AlfaTester.registered.user.Freenode  because AlfaTester is the masternick and not BetaTester.

I'm currently using anope 1.8.2

Thanks in advance.

the ability to synchronise vhosts on ns group was added in 2.3.. note though that it does so only on group and when a group already has mutliple vhosts set it s a bit less predictable.. read the config directives for more info..
