cs access #chan limited...
« on: January 29, 2007, 01:47:49 PM »

Hi! Since there is no module for displaying extra info on /cs access #chan list so that i can see who added user and last modified his status i need module which will limit access to certain channel to only few people.
I have network with few servers linked and we have a lost of users and like over 15 admins. So i would like to prevent any other admin from adding, deleting or changing access list of certain channel in any way?

I made a module that allows you to see who added/deleted who in a channel, if you would like to use this instead? because you mention it

If you use the xOP system on that channel just simply add everyone to the AOP list, that way no one can add anyone else .. only the founder and SOP's can add other users.

If you use the levels system add everyone to the same level that is required to add other users. In levels, you can't add users to the same or higher level that you, so if every is at the minimum level needed for ops, then no one can add other ops.

In either case, no modules needed.

you appearently didn't understand me ... if you add your admins to the AOP list then they can not add other ops. you don't need a module for this .. services already does it.

AOP's can not add other ops. if your admins are AOPs, then  .. they can not add other ops.

or with levels u can  simply do /CS LEVELS DIS ACC-CHANGE
this way only the founder can change access levels
no need to use the crappy xOP system :P
