Problem with services.
« on: December 27, 2008, 08:49:07 PM »

my services every so then keeps quitting saying "[08:30:10 PM] -alpha.chatexplosion.net- *** Global -- from irc.chatexplosion.net: Server services.chatexplosion.net[78.129.228.35] closed the connection" there no errors in services log. But if i look in unrealircd log there is for services it say this "[Sat Dec 27 20:30:05 2008] - SQUIT services.chatexplosion.net (Client exited)
[Sat Dec 27 20:30:05 2008] - [BUG] operator count bug! value in /lusers is '-1', we counted '13', user='HelpServ', userserver='services.chatexplosion.net', tag=rmvlist. Corrected." anyone know what the problem is?

<chaz> Hi Zero
<Zero> hi
<chaz> I'm just reading your forum post
<Zero> ok cool
<chaz> I suppose my first question is whether you're using raw on anope?
<Zero> nope ive disabled raw
<chaz> Can you show me the output of /tsctl alltime please?
<Zero> [09:04:07 PM] -alpha.chatexplosion.net- *** Server=alpha.chatexplosion.net TStime=1230411844 time()=1230411844 TSoffset=0

<chaz> What about unreal modules?
<chaz> * *** PM Logging (Security Module) [3RD]
<chaz> urgh
<Zero> lol
<chaz> That will quickly make you unpopular with users.
<Zero> oh
<chaz> However, the bug you're speaking of is dated back in 2005 and hasn't recurred since. (It was an unreal bug, not anope)
<chaz> I'd re-test without your 3rd party modules on unreal (and any on anope?) and see if it still occurs.

<Zero> is what i got loaded
<chaz> They don't look too bad.
<Zero> i got told it was doing it alot while i was offline
<Zero> but ive only seen it do it today
<chaz> I think your best bet all things considered is to run unreal and anope with no third party modules.
<chaz> just to see whether it sitll occurs.
<Zero> ok
<chaz> If so, you want to drop them both into debug to see what's causing it
<Zero> ok ill do it when it nexts dose it
<chaz> I'll update the thread with this text.

When did you upgraded? Before or after releasing as current stable?
