Has anyone had any experience tying Nickserv into Kerberos, PAM, or Active Directory authentication back-ends? We'd like to allow our users to (somehow) authenticate to Nickserver, but not actually expose the raw password to the IRC server. We want to use a chat bot to perform system automation, but need to ensure that the authentication is strong enough to ensure that a compromise of the server can't leak any user credentials. Any ideas would be very appreciated
