Title: -OperServ- No help available for SET.
Post by: Acid on August 24, 2010, 01:23:19 PM
Good day to you! =)

Using Anope 1.8.4 with Unreal3.2

The people that host my server just changed servers and we tagged along with it all.. everything worked perfectly fine until now?

-OperServ- No help available for SET.

All that has been changed in the services.conf or even unrealircd.conf is the server name/s and IP.

Tried re-configure / make / make clean etc etc etc and os_set appears to be loaded but I'm not getting anywhere.

Could anyone point me in someplace I could possibly be missing or could this be a problem caused by the new servers?

Thanks in advance for any reply!

If you've moved the /services directory to a different server, or os distro has changed, etc you may want to try make distclean, see if anything else is missing by doing /os modlist core, if things are missing, start anope with -debug and paste the log content from /logs.

But it has been a wget download and install?

At best, ive copied over the databases from old server to new server? (besides .conf files)

ah ok, wasn't sure, quite alot of people just copy over their old /services and/or anope source.

You need to do /os modlist core and see if anything else isn't loading, and starting anope with -debug so we can see why it isn't loading...

from the looks of it you are just a regular services oper which has no access to OS SET...

Everything looks in order mostly

You should uncomment your Numeric field.. I can't recall what issues that causes, it might help.
UlineServers "services.nontoxic.com"  You don't need to have services uline themself.. Other than that it seems to be ok. You aren't loading any modules are you? I didn't see any.

no other modules are included other then what is in the .conf

Besides the numeric which ill address shortly - are there any other conditions that could cause the problem thats happening?

A few things.. Most i've checked and everything is fine.  Could be the module didn't get loaded somehow, along with others.  Which would be a system problem, memory, hard drive space...
