Title: alias problem

I have installed anpoe no problems and everthing seems to be working ok , problem is that i am unable to figure out how to set up the alias's properly , i am having to use the /msg nickserv or /msg operserv commands when it would be so much eaiser to use just /ns or /os , i have tried everything but get no response from those commands. Am i missing a step in setting up the alias's , i am running everything on unrealircd.

In your ircd conf:

include "aliases/anope.conf";

yeah i tried that but still no go not sure what i am doing wrong.
