BotServ seems to ignore "/msg botserv bot change"
« on: October 20, 2006, 02:06:07 PM »

For any reason, I can't change the host of my bots. the bot name is S3|RooT and I want to change its host from "bots.Rockrecipe.de" to "bots.IrCSnet.Com" so I typed:
/msg botserv bot change S3|RooT S3|RooT botserv bots.IrCSnet.Com S3|RooT
as usual, but I get no response from botserv and the bot's /whois still says:
S3|RooT is botserv@bots.Rockrecipe.de * S3|RooT
S3|RooT is using modes +Sq
S3|RooT is connecting from *@bots.Rockrecipe.de
S3|RooT on &#S3-System
S3|RooT using services.ryogairc.de IRC-Services von ryogairc.de
S3|RooT is a Network Service
s3|root End of /WHOIS list.

I'm using anope 1.7.17 and UnrealIRCd 3.2.5
Last time I changed a bots host, with anope 1.7.14 if I remember right, it has just worked.

I'm sorry again for posting to fast

the problem is caused by the module "bs_botaddonlyunreg" which prevents from adding bots with nicks that are in use or registered. After unloading it, I could change the bot as usual.
