Services.conf

Where do I put services.conf?

I have it in the same folder as it was when it was called example.conf, but I get the error message "Can't open services.conf: No such file or directory".

Im using Anope on Windows.

I have the same problem,
after editing the example and moving it to the main DIR, log file contains this:
Can't open services.conf: No such file or directory
where should be the problem?
is it possible to be due to an error in the conf? |:(|:(|:(

On windows, services.conf needs to be in the data directory. On *nix it should be in the root directory alongside the services binary.

Check your ircd configuration to be sure it is listening on the IP/port you have specified in services.conf

Join the IRC channel #anope on irc.anope.org and I'll try and help you troubleshoot it.
