Anope Can't Start (Windows XP Home)
« on: October 29, 2006, 08:03:02 AM »

Hi all,

I've got a really strange problem:

After the install of Anope 1.7.16 I started the program, but I got an error containing:
- The program can't be started because the configuration is not right. Re-installing could fix the problem (translated from dutch).

What's wrong? I installed the program in C:/myname/Programs/Anope

Thanks for your help!

Grz,
AgentX

Im assuming you've fixed it? if not you just need to get and install the VC runtime's from microsoft.

Check there's a .manifest file along with the anope.exe, otherwise you'll need to re-download and install Anope again.
