Title: [REQUEST]: ns_info_notice
Post by: Mitsos on March 03, 2013, 10:03:17 PM
Hello,

I wonder if my request module can be done on 1.8.7 anope services , the module will be notice if any nickname uses /ns info command to an services operator or services admin or services root admin , and notice the Oper,Admin that the user (ident@host) uses NickServ info to his/her nickname, i request this because a lot of ppl uses the /ns info command to check if an OPER,ADMIN is online because if WHOIS command has been done then the oper, admin will be understand them.

notice e.g:

/ns info westor

[23:45:37] -NickServ- westor is a services root administrator.

now nickserv notice to westor:
*** test_user (identd@host) did an /NickServ INFO on your nickname.

- Thanks!

This can be done fairly easily. However, I personally am not interested. I'm an avid umode +W hater and this is right at the top of the list with it.

Thanks for understanding and good luck getting this written.

Well you can find my ircd_clan_info module for an example of how to hook the ns info command with MOD_TAIL, then create a function the sends a notice(); to the oper.
